Faculty, staff, and students from the School of Engineering invite you to participate in hands-on design challenges and learn more about:

- Valuable academic techniques for success
Engineering Day activities center around the Engineering Design Process. Participants will work in small teams to complete tasks using limited supplies in a friendly competition format. Through these activities, we teach key concepts like brainstorming, designing, testing, and iteration.
We’re currently finalizing this year’s activities, which will be themed around mechanical, chemical, and/or electrical engineering — so get ready for a fun and educational experience!
Important Announcement:
We are excited to continue hosting Engineering Days, a hands-on event designed to inspire creativity and innovation. To sustain the quality of this program, we are implementing a $15.00 participation fee. Your support ensures this enriching experience remains possible for all. The $15.00 fee will include an Engineering Day t-shirt, project supplies, etc.
Sponsor a Child
We believe every child should have the opportunity to participate in Engineering Days. If you would like to help a child who cannot afford the fee, you can contribute an additional $15.00 sponsorship fee. Your generosity will allow a student in need to experience the full benefits of Engineering Days. Thank you for considering this meaningful way to support our program.

- What does the $15.00 fee cover?
The fee includes a Campbell Engineering T-shirt, lunch (pizza, cookies, and water), and all materials used during the day’s activities. - Is there assistance for parents who cannot afford the fee?
Yes! Email kdorsch@campbell.edu to apply for a student scholarship. - Do parents need to pay?
No, parents do not pay. Most Engineering Days include a brief presentation and tour of our facilities led by Campbell Engineering faculty or staff. This lasts about 60–90 minutes, and parents may stay for a shorter time if needed. There is no cost.

What Do I Do While My Child Is Participating
- Can parents attend?
Parents cannot attend the student activities. However, most Engineering Days include a 60–90-minute presentation and tour led by Campbell Engineering faculty or staff. Parents may stay for a shorter time if preferred. - Is this a drop-off event or can parents stay?
This is a drop-off event. Parents are welcome to attend the optional 60–90 minute presentation and tour. You may also visit local cafes and shops in Buies Creek or Lillington. On campus, the Student Union and Library will be open during Engineering Days for those who wish to stay nearby.

- Are the activities the same each time?
Activities remain consistent throughout the academic year but may change annually. - Will there be access to a refrigerator?
The event venue is air-conditioned, if the participant is bringing their own lunch, please pack it appropriately. - Can my child leave for lunch?
For safety, all participants must remain with the group for the entire event. - How can a parent learn more about Campbell’s School of Engineering?
