Campbell School of Engineering is pleased to work with FIRST LEGO League teams in our regional K12 schools. Campbell Engineering majors and faculty serve as both mentors and experts.
League teams are presented each year with a real-world problem (in areas such as food safety, recycling or energy) and challenged to develop a solution. The annual challenge revolves around the design, construction and programming of a LEGO MINDSTORMS® robot, with the competition on a table-top playing field.
Participating teams learn a variety of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts, as well as how to use creativity, problem-solving skills, team skills, programming and more.
